So I've had this idea mulling around in my head for awhile and I can't tell if its really cool or really lame. Because my mind seems to come up with random crap all the time. Anyways, it's about my idea for an Urban SuperHero, but not in the classic comic book sense. Here I'll give you a summary: Uday Morcos was a nice guy in a bad situation. Growing up in the projects with his aunt and cousins it was almost predestined that he would end up in one of the many gangs that ruled and shook the town, but Uday understood that joining a gang was a trap. Once you're in you never get out. Uday's goal was to make it out of the slums and have a real life.

Now Uday was always fast, running away was important to survival when you hear a gunshot, if it weren't for the jobs he worked to save up money he would have been in track. He just didn't realize how fast he really was until he found them. Gloves. They were perched upon a trash can innocently enough, the black fabric looked almost like a mesh and they were heavy, curiously so, when he put them on. Little did he know that his new favorite gloves were kevlar and made just for him.

He wore those gloves everywhere, because if you don't something stolen you have to protect them, they fit Uday so perfectly. Then he suddenly found himself caught in the crossfire of a territorial gang fight. With no alley to duck behind he thought for sure he was going to die, he closed his eyes and squeezed them tight, but nothing happened. Confused he opened his eyes and saw bullets in the air with tails blurring behind them, one even right in front of him. Uday had never experienced something so odd before. Almost as if on impulse he reached up and snatched the bullet closest to him from out of the air and the world started moving again.

Uday Morcos was the bullet catcher and he would soon realize it was up to him to restore order to his home.
